Eaglebear's Galleria:
Was started in the early 1996, after I was unable to work due to several major health problems. None of the people that work at Eaglebears have even been paid even a dime for their efforts at the store. The whole store goes to the benefit of Native American People who struggle to this day to make a living honoring the old ways, and the creator. I was giving the Name Eaglebear and try to live up to the name, but still fall quite short.
All the proceeds of Eaglebears go to children that are on many of the reservations that are around the United States that have been forgotten. Eaglebears also stands for the people who do crafts in the time-honored manor, a way of loving to do what you are creating with the help of the creator. They are done for God, and always are remembered in everything that we do as a company.
We continue in many ways to struggle as a company, but we are still here. Eaglebears is very proud to put the name of Authentic American Indians on many of the fine products that we offer to the public. When you buy anything at Eaglebears, know that it not only helps the person who made it, but it helps the children and the elders that are still on the reservation today to find a place where they can remember all those that have gone before us. Eden Koch, Sarah Whitney and myself do not receive any pay from this company nor do we take any money. In fact each of us have lent the company not only our time but our recourses so that Eaglebears may continue to represent those people of Indian culture and even those who do not have Indian heritage but still have been touched by those who gave us " The truth of the past, in the spirit of today" Mitkaye Oyasin
